Although we are promised trouble in this life (John 16:33) in Jesus Christ there is life and relationship with the creator God.  Through Jesus the Holy Spirit dwells in us and leads us (1 Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:14).  The fact is you, I, and all people are broken sinners (Romans 3:23).  We are empty, stained by sin, hurting, and dead in the flesh.  We need grace, hope, cleansing, healing, and life.  We have all sinned against the only holy judge and Lord God, He is just.  According to justice, we deserve a death sentence from the judge (Romans 6:23, Isaiah 6:3-, Mark 10:18).  The good news is our Lord and God Jesus Christ, sent from the Father, took on flesh to become a man over 2000 years ago in the Middle East and lived a perfect life, sinless.  Jesus Christ then died on a cross carrying our sins and taking our punishment (2 Corinthians 5:21), the wrath of God (Romans 5:9) forsaken (Matthew 27:46), which we deserve from God (Isaiah 53).  Jesus rose again, death could not defeat Him.  Jesus had the "power of an indestructible life" Hebrews 7:16.  Jesus is alive and Lord God.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).  His blood cleanses us (everyone who believes) from all sin (Acts 13:39, 1 John 1:7, 3:3).  We receive eternal life instead of the wages of sin we owe (death).  He paid the debt as a gift to us and to God's glory.  The gift is received by faith in Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 2:8 says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."  "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Believe in Jesus Christ, follow Him in faith, and let the Holy Spirit lead you.  Open up a Bible so that His words may lead you and you continue in faith.  John 8:31-32 says, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
